Ecce: Valuing the Italian language and culture
The ECCE course is structured in three modules. Starting with the Scuola Media module, the ECCE is considered an Italian bi-curricular course. Find out more below about the details of each stage.

CLECI (CORSO DI LINGUA E CULTURA ITALIANA)
From 1st to 5th grade of Elementary School
It is an intensive extracurricular course that is offered after school. At CLeCI, students begin to get used to the Italian language and culture, with four hours of lessons spread over two days a week for 1st and 2nd graders and five hours of lessons spread over three days a week for 3rd to 5th graders. The CLeCI also serves as a preparation for the Scuola Media, which will provide in-depth language training. In CLeCI, if there is a vacancy, students can be enrolled at any time during the school year, in any year, and it is not compulsory to have been in the first year of Elementary School in order to enter the subsequent years.
Scuola Media
From 6th to 8th grade of Elementary School
Starting from the Scuola Media, Ecce is a full-time bi-curricular course from 7:30 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. The classes formed are exclusive to Ecce and remain the same until the end of the course. Subjects from the Italian curriculum and the Brazilian curriculum are taught in Italian and Portuguese, such as literature, history of technology, geography, history, and the arts. English is also strongly taught. The Scuola Media corresponds to the first three years of Elementary School.
STRONG ENGLISH LEARNING
Liceo Scientifico
From 9th grade of Elementary studies to the 3rd grade of High School
At the Liceo Scientifico, formally recognized by the Italian government as a secondary school (Scuola Secondaria di Secondo Grado), the emphasis is on a deeper understanding of European humanistic culture and specific preparation for national and, above all, international entrance exams, with all their different admission processes.
In addition, the level of parity with other schools in the Italian education system means that the Esame di Stato (State Exam) can be taken at the school itself, the passing of which gives the student an Italian diploma, opening doors to the best universities in Europe.
