You are invited to join  us in a

 

SURFING TRIP THROUGH THE BRITISH MUSEUM…

 

Be ready for a multicultural trip.

Are you ready  to go back to the past and feel all the emotion that the ancient  environment invites you to go through?

Task

 

The job you were chosen for, among many candidates, is the following:

 

Imagine you are a tourist guide, taking a 7th grade group of students to a visit to the British Museum in London, England.

 

Before you start your journey you  are challenged to select interesting sites to be explored by your group of tourists.

 

Your task is to surf through the British Museum  and produce an inviting  leaflet containing information, pictures, directions, tips, of the most enjoyable places to be visited by the students.

You are invited to surf through the site of the British Museum and Explore its collections.

Start your visit and among Gods, Temples, Pyramids, Pharaohs and Mummies select representative items of the Egyptian Life:

1. Prepare a front page leaflet in Word Program:

 

(a)         First Page: About the Story – Write a tittle and a brief explanation of the subject you have chosen.  Add pictures.

(b)        Second Page:  About Explore – Select three pictures and write a line about them.

(c)         Third Page: About Challenge – Select one result of the games and copy it.  You can use Print Screen.

(d)        Fourth Page: Make a Conclusion.  Copy the picture that best impressed you and write an inviting paragraph in English about your trip through this site.

 

2.  Print this leaflet.

 of the world.  It was founded   in 1753 to     promote
universal understanding  through the Arts, Natural
 History and Science in a public museum.

 

The main Museum buildings are in Bloomsbury.

compared and contrasted across time and space to

 inspire and delight over five million visitors a year.
